As a mid-level team member, you will collaborate with leadership and mentor junior estimators to drive business growth and operational excellence.<br><br><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><ul><li><b>Lead Cost Estimation:</b> Prepare and oversee accurate cost estimates for large-scale and multi-phase electrical projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. Ensure alignment with project scope and strategic objectives.</li><li><b>Scope & Design Analysis:</b> Interpret construction drawings and technical documents to evaluate scope, identify potential challenges, and develop creative, cost-effective estimating strategies.</li><li><b>Strategic Bid Management:</b> Develop comprehensive bid proposals and ensure timely submission to clients and GCs. Collaborate with executive leadership on pricing strategies and market competitiveness.</li><li><b>Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight:</b> Solicit and analyze proposals from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate based on cost, quality, and compliance to ensure optimal project outcomes.</li><li><b>Cost Tracking & Forecasting:</b> Assist in budget control and project forecasting by comparing actual project costs to estimates and analyzing deviations to improve future accuracy.</li><li><b>Risk Mitigation:</b> Identify and quantify project risks and propose contingency strategies to protect margins and timelines.</li><li><b>Value Engineering & Innovation:</b> Recommend alternative solutions and materials to reduce cost without compromising quality or performance.</li><li><b>Cross-Department Collaboration:</b> Partner with project managers, field teams, and executives to align estimates with operational realities and labor resources.</li><li><b>Client Interaction:</b> Serve as a point of contact for clients, engineers, and other stakeholders during preconstruction.
