    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\">Working under the supervision of the Administrative Services Manager, the Grounds Care Technician will perform maintenance, care and upkeep of cemetery grounds or other Cowley County grounds. &nbsp;</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs maintenance of landscaping, lawns, and roadways within the cemetery or other County facility grounds.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintains or completes minor repairs to equipment, i.e., mowers, weed eaters or other trimmers.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Water and weed flower beds as needed.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Trim bushes or trees as needed.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Other duties as deemed necessary to promote the beautification of the cemetery or other County grounds or facilities.</p><p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Experience: General experience in the area of landscaping or maintenance of grounds. &nbsp;</p><p>Must be at least 16 years of age and be able to work in different weather conditions.&nbsp;</p><p>Skills: Ability to operate all heavy and light equipment associated with landscaping and the upkeep of the cemetery grounds as well as other County facility grounds.&nbsp;</p><p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Ability to perform physical work and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; ability to stand, walk, twist, kneel, sit, bend, crawl, climb, grasp, pinch, ride, push, pull and perform similar body movements; possess hand/eye/foot coordination adequate to operate mowers and weed eaters. Ability to speak and hear in person, by telephone and two-radio, ability to see and read maps and records, service manuals and other similar materials.</p><p><br></p></div>\n<br/>M-F 8am - 12pm",
