Community Operations Associate

About the Role You'll work in person from our Austin office as the primary point of contact for our community. As a Community Operations Associate, you are the first impression of Teero. You'll own the early customer lifecycle, onboarding new hygienists and dental offices, providing world-class support, and ensuring every member of the Teero community feels supported from day one. This is a high-volume, high-impact role. You'll be on the front lines, identifying friction in our funnel and working with our Ops and Tech teams to turn those insights into a hyper-scaled growth engine. What You'll Own Be the first voice hygienists and dental offices hear, guiding them through the onboarding process with high energy and expertise Act as the go-to resource for our users, solving problems in real-time and ensuring a seamless experience on the platform Handle high-volume customer support across phone, email, and chat—you'll be talking to dozens of users daily Identify where customers are getting stuck in the onboarding process and create solutions to get them active faster Help us scale by turning one-off support wins into repeatable community playbooks Collect front-line insights to help our product team build features that our community actually wants What You Bring 1-3 years of experience where you've been in the trenches and know how to handle a fast-paced environment High energy and stamina for talking to people all day—you genuinely enjoy high-volume phone and video conversations Exceptional empathy: you can de-escalate a situation and turn a frustrated user into a Teero superfan Communication mastery: you are clear, concise, and persuasive in speech and writing Bias for action: you don't wait for a manual, you see a problem and you fix it High standards: you take pride in providing a gold-standard experience for every user Nice-to-haves: Experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles where you learned to read the room Previous experience in a high-growth Customer Success or Community Operations role at a tech startup An interest in community building and marketplace dynamics Dental industry knowledge This Role Isn't for You If: You prefer a quiet desk job with little phone time You are uncomfortable with high-volume tasks and rapid-fire problem-solving You need a standard operating procedure for every single minute of your day You only want remote work: this role is in-person at our US HQ in Austin What We Offer Become the voice of our customer—your insights directly shape our product roadmap Clear growth paths across Operations and Community Operations teams as we scale Direct reporting to our Head of Operations in our flat, collaborative Austin office Mentorship in a no-ego startup with direct access to our founders Nate & Christian Competitive salary + equity that could translate into life-changing value as we grow Opportunities to visit our tech team and founders in Amsterdam The impact of a fast-growing startup About the Team We're a compact, high-performing team led by co-founders Nate and Christian, former Uber executives who launched and scaled product lines globally.
