    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are seeking a Senior Consultant to support fast-moving crisis, issues, and litigation communications projects for high-profile clients by developing and implementing communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans, drafting materials, providing on-site crisis support, collaborating across offices, participating in new business efforts, staying informed on industry topics, and managing multiple client projects simultaneously.</p><p>This position can be based in APCO's Washington DC, New York, or Chicago office.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Supports a wide range of fast-moving crisis, issues and litigation communications projects for high profile, globally recognized clients.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Assists&nbsp;clients&nbsp;with&nbsp;developing&nbsp;communications strategies and tactical stakeholder communications plans to help manage issues and crises and mitigate&nbsp;reputation&nbsp;risks for clients.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Manages the implementation of stakeholder communications plans, including reviewing and/or drafting stakeholder engagement materials (e.g.,&nbsp;holding statements, fact sheets, and FAQS)&nbsp;and engaging with key stakeholders.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provides on-site support, as appropriate, for&nbsp;a&nbsp;client crisis&nbsp;or&nbsp;during&nbsp;a&nbsp;client&nbsp;trial.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Collaborates with an APCO team spread across multiple offices.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Participates in new business efforts, including RFP responses, across APCO.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Maintains deep understanding of industry topics, issues, or news involving client accounts in order to effectively deliver strong and creative communication strategies that are relevant to their needs and business objectives.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Supports several client projects at&nbsp;the same&nbsp;time.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.&nbsp; Graduate degree preferred.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">4-6 years&nbsp;of relevant experience in crisis, strategic, and litigation communications.&nbsp;PR Agency,&nbsp;business&nbsp;consulting, or law firm experience preferred.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Exceptional writing and analytical skills and experience in stakeholder-focused communications and digital strategy.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Detail-oriented, quick learner, ability to work independently, responsive to a rapidly changing environment, work well under tight deadlines, manage multiple complex projects and priorities simultaneously, be a self-starter, take initiative, and set priorities.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Solid project management experience.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\">Entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative team player.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation Range</strong></p><p>The US base salary for this position ranges from $70,000/year to $90,000/year. Our compensation range for this role is inclusive of several US geographic markets.
