Many candidates meet requirements by completing a simple assessment, and our team can help guide you through the process.</p><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\"><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Assess student abilities and provide instructional and behavioral assistance for students in accordance with their individual education plan (IEP) and/or their 504-behavior plan as directed by the special education team. Support can be provided 1:1 or in small groups.</li><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Commit to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.</li><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Implement result-driven curriculum and instruction specially designed to meet the unique needs of each student resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.</li><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Attend professional development, specialized trainings and IEP meetings with special education team and parents as required.</li><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Assist with the required compliance documentation.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\"><strong>Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.</strong><br><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://www.nhaschools.com/en/support-staff-requirements\">Click here</a> for the state requirements.</p><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\"><strong>Important</strong>: There are multiple ways to meet these requirements, including a testing option.</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Ability to defuse situations and prevent escalation.</li><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities and/or behavior modifications, preferred.</li><li style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Aptitude to understand and navigate technical systems.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 120%;\">Not sure if you meet the requirements?
