AHRC New York City has operated sleepaway summer camps for over 50 years, providing summer camp experiences to over 1,000 individuals and much-needed respite to their families. We take pride in our two summer camps and are successfully accredited by the   American Camp Association , (ACA) AHRC NYC is seeking a seasonal Nursing Supervisor to oversee their Summer Camp, Camp Anne in Ancramdale, NY in Columbia County, near the Berkshires Come join Our Team as the summer Nursing Supervisor! Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? Do you have a passion for helping kids, teens and adults who are neurodivergent thrive in a supportive, fun, and energetic environment? If so, we want YOU to be part of our team! As the Nursing Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in providing exceptional care and support to campers, ensuring their safety, health, and overall well-being. You’ll manage the nursing staff and work alongside an amazing team of professionals, creating lasting memories for the campers and making a positive impact in their lives. Why Work With Us? The camps are dynamic, fun and rewarding environments.  We have a wonderful caring community where you will have the opportunity to meet and work with people from all over the world! Competitive salary – Up to $2160 per week (based number of hours @ $45 per hour) and up to 12 weeks employment (June 1 – August 22 at the Lodge, June 1 – August 29 at Camp Anne) Housing + meals are provided + travel stipend People keep coming back to us - longevity and continuity for both staff and campers is one of our many strengths The camp leadership have been with AHRCNYC for between 15 – 30 years and many seasonal staff return each summer.  Nearly 90% of our campers return each year and families report great satisfaction with our programs. AHRCNYC is much more than a summer camp – we are the largest nonprofit in NYS providing support to people who are neurodivergent.  There are full-time employment opportunities after camp is over if you excel at this work. Responsibilities: Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for both campers and staff Directly supervise, schedule and support nursing staff in their work in our camp health center Work closely with other health center staff including med administrators and clerical staff Oversee and manage the health needs of campers and staff Administer medications and treatments as needed Monitor and assess campers’ health conditions, provide first aid as needed Provide health education and training to staff and campers Communicate with families and outside providers Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Experience with people who are neuro-divergent is a plus Ready to Stand for Something?
