They also supervise the daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers, vendors, and other Associates.</li><li>Perform basic math functions to collect payments, make accurate change and maintain an accurate cash drawer. Operate cash register to ring sales.</li><li>Follow and enforce all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the store’s operation and comply with State and Federal laws on Alcohol, Tobacco, and lottery sales.</li><li>Ensure associates are following all Company Policies and Established Procedures and State and Federal laws and coach when needed.</li><li>Ensure and assist with all regular cleaning activities to keep store clean and orderly, including bathrooms and fuel dispensers.</li><li>Participate in stocking of items and marketing promotion efforts.</li><li>Supervise and give instructions in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.</li><li>Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors.</li><li>Put out the lottery book.</li><li>Resolve customer concerns, complaints, or requests in a timely manner.
