Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Officer to join our Corporate Services team. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Services, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining exceptional client service standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting the efficient delivery of corporate banking operations.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Bank’s continued growth and expansion within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high standard of customer service, supporting client retention and contributing to the Bank’s market growth
Ensure that all internal control procedures and regulatory requirements are consistently adhered to
Respond promptly and professionally to client queries and requests
Process and manage a range of administrative tasks, including:
E-banking queries and support
Account opening and onboarding documentation
Cheque processing and deposits
Collection and verification of supporting documentation
File reviews and record maintenance
Liaise effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth operational workflows
Assist in process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the department
Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Senior Manager – Corporate Service
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of A-level standard of education and/or at least 3 years’ relevant experience in banking or financial services
Strong understanding of corporate banking operations and administrative processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
Professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Preferred Skills (Considered an Asset)
Previous experience within a corporate banking or corporate services environment
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. KYC, AML)
Client relationship management experience
