This position provides an opportunity to work on complex multi-disciplined projects for major institutional, industrial, coastal and real estate clients along with local and state government and plays an important role in expanding and shaping the civil engineering team.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>2025 U.S. Best Managed Company, National Recognition</li>\n <li>2025 and 2024 LIBN, Real Estate Architecture & Engineering Awards for Top Firm, Lifetime Achievement, Top Engineer, Top Education & Healthcare Projects</li>\n <li>2024 ACEC, Engineering Excellence Awards, National Recognition</li>\n <li>2024 Institute of Transportation Engineers, National Achievement Award</li>\n <li>2024 ACEC Inaugural (DEI) Commitment Award</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of projects in the Industrial, Institutional, Real Estate, Coastal and Energy Market </li>\n <li>Help build and lead a multi-dimensional team of civil engineering professionals</li>\n <li>Provide technical and career guidance as a mentor to staff Manage small, medium, and large project tasks</li>\n <li>Assist in the development project opportunities and manage proposal submissions</li>\n <li>Support preparation of land development design and permitting documents</li>\n <li>Assist in project task scope, budget and schedule management </li>\n <li>Prepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the systems designed</li>\n <li>Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, boards, commissions, utility providers and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues </li>\n <li>Supervise design team activities during Construction Administration</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Attributes </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills </li>\n <li>Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design erosion/sediment control, and stormwater management </li>\n <li>Experience with real estate projects, institutional and energy projects a plus</li>\n <li>An understanding of other civil engineering or geomatics disciplines such as land survey, traffic engineering or highway design is a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to think critically and multitask </li>\n <li>Strong computer skills (CAD & MS Office)</li>\n <li>Exhibits leadership skills</li>\n <li>Excels working in an integrated service team environment </li>\n <li>Attention to detail </li>\n <li>Self-motivated </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field </li>\n <li>5-8+ years of professional civil design engineering experience required</li>\n <li>PE licensure required</li>\n <li>Understanding of the Long Island marketplace a plus</li>\n <li>Experience with abilities of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D, and/or MicroStation</li>\n <li>Direct client and project management experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Hauppauge, NY is $105,000-145,000.
