As a Cardiac Sonographer at Regions Heart Center, you’ll get exposure to a variety of cardiac care procedures and work with a team that is made up of the best cardiologists and heart surgeons. Our&nbsp;staff is key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Join our team and make good happen!</span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Cardiac Sonographers will perform echocardiographic procedures on adult patients in the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory including M-Mode echocardiography, Two-Dimensional echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, pulsed, continuous wave, and color flow doppler echocardiography, stress echocardiography, dobutamine echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and to perform related duties as assigned.&nbsp;This position supports and participates in achieving departmental goals.</span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Work Schedule:</u></strong> Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-4:15 PM, on-call, and rotating weekends.</span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Required Qualifications</u>:</strong></span></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Registration or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or RCS must be obtained within six months of hire.</span></span></li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Will be required to become certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).</span></span></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></span></span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;\">Completion of an accredited program in echocardiography or a bachelor’s degree in life science is preferred.</span></span></li></ul><p class=\"western\">&nbsp;</p>",
