The Undergraduate College Intern position is for currently enrolled students who have attended at least one year of their a bachelors program. The Summer Internship Program offers a variety of internship positions across Emory departments for either 10 or 12 weeks depending on the department needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for providing support to the research team in a variety of capacities.
This position works closely with the research team and other departments to ensure the successful completion of research projects and studies.
The Clinical Research Assistant will be responsible for collecting and entering data, tracking patient progress, and coordinating with other clinical staff members.
They will also assist with the development and implementation of research protocols and processes, as well as the preparation of documents for regulatory submissions.
The Clinical Research Assistant will provide administrative support, such as scheduling and organizing meetings, as well as preparing research materials.
This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
Assist in the design and implementation of clinical research protocols
Collect and enter clinical data into medical databases
Perform literature searches and reviews
Organize and manage clinical research documents
Communicate with clinical research staff and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate records of clinical trial activities
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing research results
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university offering a four year degree.
Completion of freshman year or higher and in good academic standing.
College transcripts required as part of interview process.
Excellent organizational, data management and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
