Current CPR card.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule</p>\n<p>Full Time, Days</p>\n<p>$30,000 Sign-On Bonus </p>\n<p>Contact me if interested at [email protected] or schedule a call with me to discuss at</p>\n<p>  https://MemorialHealthIL.as.me/KariWatson</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Education:</em></strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Illinois Licensure as Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure.</li>\n <li>Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Experience:</em></strong></p>\n<p>2 years experience in Physical Therapy preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to show respect for patient rights by considering their cultural, psychosocial, and spiritual values.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of proper procedure for all physical therapy evaluation procedures, modalities, including age-specific, precautions and contra-indications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Consistently and thoroughly evaluates patients with differing diagnoses and devises an individualized, comprehensive plan of care based on facts and best practice.</li>\n<li>Recommends and performs treatment as ordered by referring physician.</li>\n<li>Educates about disease process, equipment use, and rehabilitation techniques, as appropriate.</li>\n<li>Actively researches and develops new services and/or continuously suggests improvements to existing.</li>\n<li>Engages in at least one activity yearly which promotes individualized professional development.</li>\n<li>Provide aquatic therapy for those patients who it is indicated.</li>\n<li>Determination for discharge is according to written criteria.</li>\n<li>Maintain state of art clinical expertise in areas of responsibilities by attending continuing education courses and in-services.</li>\n<li>Supervises and guides PTA and other personnel as required for patient care.</li>\n<li>Participates in QA, research and other projects as requested.</li>\n<li>Represents the hospital service line in hospital and community education programs.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates support for and participates as requested in accomplishing MHS, departmental and team goals and objectives.</li>\n<li>Performs other related work as required or requested.</li>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
