This position is ideal for a lift electrician/mechanic looking to take the next step in their ski industry career.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to ensure safe operations on mountain systems, including 6 chair lifts (with one being a surface conveyor).</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Schedule and execute annual, monthly, weekly and daily maintenance on chairlift mechanical equipment.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Respond to and determine cause of lift problems with public on board and implement solution by repair.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Perform and document regular operational testing, preventive maintenance and trouble shoot potential problems.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Fit bearings, rebuild sheave trains, service grips and perform other mechanical procedures requiring specialized training.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Climb chairlift towers wearing a fall protection harness, while carrying tools, to troubleshoot and repair equipment and issues at heights up to 65 feet.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Read diagrams and manufacturers&rsquo; manuals to maintain an unwavering absolute understanding of the resort&rsquo;s equipment.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><br />\r\n&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Other Responsibilities:</h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Consistently collaborate with all mountain operations departments to contribute to mountain-wide communication and safety.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Stay positive, focused, and constructive when faced with setbacks, challenges, and while working in an ever-changing environment</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Produce high employee morale, motivation and guest satisfaction in an atmosphere of continuous improvement.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li dir=\"ltr\">\r\n\t<p dir=\"ltr\">Ensure compliance with OSHA and other laws governing personnel environment and equipment safety for the purpose of ensuring safety in the workplace.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
