Ngarra and Norwest exist as separate educational institutions, intentionally sharing facilities, resources, and learning experiences that will form the basis of rich learning opportunities for all students. We are two schools living together as one learning community. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Find out more about Ngarra <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://www.norwest.nsw.edu.au/ngarra-christian-college\">here</a></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Your Role : </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\"> Operate as part of a dynamic teaching and learning team, supporting teachers and students</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\"> Facilitate small group learning under the guidance of a classroom teacher</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\"> Facilitate student inclusion in a range of events and extra-curricular activities, providing supervision and support</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">About you:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship</span>, as well as the following skills and experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">completion (or willingness to commence) formal tertiary education relevant to Learning Support (a minimum Cert III in Education Support);</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">experience in supporting primary and/or secondary students with additional needs;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">ability to form positive, professional relationships with students in an educational environment;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to use technology;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">experience collaborating with teachers and other professionals to meet the additional needs of students (highly desired);</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">knowledge of the Disability Standards for Education;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">exceptional time management skills;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">commitment to professional learning and growth; and,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">ability to care for students’ wellbeing and share from a perspective of Christian faith.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Guidelines for Application:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to provide a Working With Children Check clearance number or clearance letter, and must be able to live and work in NSW. </span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Early applications are appreciated to assist the interview process.
