Support organization, documentation and maintenance of inventory and delivery of production materials where needed to assist in meeting customer on-time demand.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ol><li>Verify items and quantities on incoming shipment packing slips and receive against open PO’s or ERP system transfers between warehouses.</li><li>Receive, distribute and store materials in designated, secure locations.</li><li>Notify and provide the Inspection Team with the first article of inspection for incoming raw materials; review accompanying documents for accuracy and ensure documents are properly filed after acceptance of goods.</li><li>Ensure correct labels are properly placed on all inbound materials for Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.</li><li>Follow FIFO [first in, first out] principles to ensure proper use of inventory goods (i.e. sort, stock and cycle inventory).</li><li>Prepare &amp; verify pallets for transfer to the Logistics Center, properly wrapped, banded and inspected to ensure that there is no damage and that the correct product &amp; quantities are on the pallet labels prior to departure.</li><li>Enter and confirm transfer details into ERP system, Chempax, (when driver is unavailable) to include special instructions.</li><li>Communicate urgency of material need and expedite transfers that affect the manufacturing process schedule.</li><li>Notify Procurement of raw material arrivals and inform Quality upon RGA material arrivals at the warehouse.</li><li>Verify accuracy of inventory through weekly cycle counts &amp; perform yearly physical inventory.</li><li>Serve as main contact for the Production Team for material locations.</li><li>Assist Shipping Team with order fulfillment as needed.</li><li>Collect and properly dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.</li><li>Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><strong>COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>· Energetic multi-tasking expert with keen prioritizing abilities</p><p>· Calm and clear communication skills, written/verbal</p><p>· Detail driven and confident in confirming data</p><p>· Strong organizational skills</p><p>· Excellent documentation skills and ability to retrieve historical data with ease</p><p>· In depth knowledge of various inventory storage methods</p><p>· Excellent communications skills-both face to face and through email.</p><p>· Ability to adapt quickly to changes in schedules.</p>",
