    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Blow Molding department, ensuring efficient production, product quality, safety compliance, and effective supervision of machine operators and support staff. &nbsp;Provides overall direction to production floor employees in the areas of production, scheduling, performance management, training and other related areas striving to improve overall operational efficiencies.</span></p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Provides leadership and training to accomplish production objectives to all employees for Safety, Quality, Production, Packaging, and Maintenance.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordinates production activities with other departments to ensure production goals/objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Works with the operations team to ensure vacancies are covered for any planned/unplanned.</span></li>\n <li><span>Establishes and monitors shift performance for safety, quality, and production standards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Enter production data accurately into the system in order to measure and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) around efficiencies, downtime, inventory and overall production.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Updates communication boards to keep production floor team members informed about safety, quality and efficiency metrics. Leads employee start-up meetings&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Works with other team members to control and improve efficiency, minimize labor overtime, downtime and repair expenses. Implement cost-effective systems around this as necessary.</span></li>\n <li><span>Promotes shop floor organization, plant housekeeping with employees, lean utilizing techniques such as 5S with shift personnel.</span></li>\n <li><span>Acts as the first point of contact for operators regarding mechanical failure or production issues; Directs maintenance employees to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform preventative maintenance.</span></li>\n <li><span>May conduct tool store inventory reviews to ensure proper tools and/or parts are available for use in the event they are needed.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Prepares and reviews employees worked hours for submission to payroll.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management or equivalent experience</span></li>\n <li><span>3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Blow Molding experience required.</span></li>\n <li><span>Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Previous experience working in a Lean environment; Embraces continuous improvement</span></li>\n <li><span>Self-directed team player&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Flexibility to work multiple shifts</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Competencies:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Excellent Communication&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong Business Acumen</span></li>\n <li><span>Results Orientation</span></li>\n <li><span>Building Collaborative Relationships</span></li>\n <li><span>Influencing Others</span></li>\n <li><span>Strategic Thinking</span></li>\n <li><span>Customer Orientation</span></li>\n</ul>",
