Through collaboration, innovation, and education, we inspire hope and empower positive change in those we serve.</p><p>We are committed to being responsible stewards of our resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective care for all.</p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Clinician at River Valley Counseling Center provides trauma-informed mental health assessment and treatment to individuals, families, and couples. This role includes developing and adjusting treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The clinician promotes culturally responsive, strengths-based care while supporting clients through crisis intervention, community referrals, and ongoing therapeutic support.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.</li><li>Provide on-going therapy to individuals, families and/or couples, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and conducting on-going assessments of progress.</li><li>Utilize strength-based, trauma-informed, resilience-building communication strategies in interactions with clients and families. Exercise cultural humility and respect at all times.</li><li>Maintain client confidentiality, rights, and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Document all clinical work accurately and maintain client records according to established RVCC and regulatory standards and procedures.</li><li>Develop and maintain working knowledge of community services and resources for clients.</li><li>Coordinate any necessary referrals, outreach, advocacy, or case consultation as appropriate to meet client needs.</li><li>Report abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or disabled person in accordance with Massachusetts law for mandated reporters.</li><li>Participate in client care and multidisciplinary team conferences when indicated.</li><li>Facilitate family consults and/or sessions when clinically indicated for minor clients</li><li>Other duties assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong><em>Required:</em></strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong> Master&rsquo;s degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work</p><p><strong data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"394\" data-pasted=\"true\">Licensure:</strong> LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or LICSW in the state of MA&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Certifications:&nbsp;</strong>CANS&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li data-start=\"535\" data-end=\"588\" data-pasted=\"true\">Ability to provide services to clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and families; must be open to working with clients from pediatric through geriatric populations and committed to providing inclusive, affirming care to diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ individuals</li><li data-start=\"535\" data-end=\"588\" data-pasted=\"true\">Availability to work evenings and Saturdays to meet client needs</li><li data-start=\"535\" data-end=\"588\" data-pasted=\"true\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"646\">Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills</li><li data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"695\">Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills</li><li data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"752\">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"818\">Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records</li><li data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"892\">Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic health records</li><li data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"959\">Knowledge of legal and ethical standards within the profession</li><li data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"1016\">Strong customer service and client engagement skills</li></ul><p><strong><em>Preferred:</em></strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Bilingual (English/Spanish)</li><li>Prior experience providing therapy or clinical services to children, adolescents, and families (3 years of relevant clinical experience)</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Schedule &amp; Availability:</strong></p><ul><li>Available to work Saturdays based on program needs</li><li>Preferably available for a minimum of two evening shifts per week</li><li>Preference for candidates able to provide in-office services at least once weekly</li></ul><p><strong>Pay:</strong></p><p>RVCC offers two types of pay structures!</p><ul><li>Our <strong>Fee For Service</strong> Structure allows our part time &amp; full time clinicians to create their own schedule allowing amazing flexibility while also earning paid sick time!</li><li>Our <strong>Salary Plus</strong> structure offers a base salary for full time clinicians with the opportunity to earn extra money while receiving amazing time off benefits such as vacation, holiday, personal and sick time!</li></ul><p><strong>Salary Range:</strong></p><ul><li>Fee For Service - $35 - $51 per billable hour</li><li>Salary Plus - $52,000 - $60,000 base annual salary</li></ul><p><em>Salary ranges are based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications.
