Once assigned to a project site, regular travel is not required.

Lead and coordinate change management processes on heavy civil infrastructure projects, evaluating the effect of proposed changes on overall project schedule and budget and implementing controls to mitigate financial and schedule risk.
Assess project contracts and supporting documents for completeness; work with the owner to resolve specification conflicts, contract discrepancies, and scheduling issues on heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Oversee engineering and scheduling teams to identify, evaluate, and negotiate proposed change orders on heavy civil infrastructure projects, engaging senior leadership for support as needed.
Create and present monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to company leadership.
Ensure project safety reviews and procedures are followed by conducting regular safety checks, participating in safety meetings and monthly review meetings, and supporting the safety programs of both the project and the owner.
Review and approve staffing and equipment needs for efficient and effective project production on heavy civil infrastructure project segments.
Manage communications with third-party stakeholders, including utility owners, government agencies, and subcontractors to provide updates on project progress and resolve issues with respect to project strategy and execution.
Participate in dispute resolution process with support from internal legal counsel.
Provide input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient and effective project production.
Lead project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages and working with management to resolve any project claims. Lead project debrief cycle to review all aspects of project work and completion.
Will manage up to approximately 10 employees in addition to consultants and subcontractors. Number and title of subordinates may vary over time but will generally include Civil Engineers, Estimators, and Construction Managers.
