Your ability to deal cards efficiently, enforce game rules, calculate payouts with precision, and maintain full control of the table ensures that every guest enjoys a smooth and entertaining gameplay experience. Through strong game knowledge, attention to detail, and a welcoming demeanor, you help create a safe, enjoyable, and trustworthy environment that reflects the high standards of the Live! brand.</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: $4.50/hr - $5.50/hr</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Earning potential: hourly + gitca tip rate of mid $50,000 for full-time hours.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing exemplary customer service while engaging with guests in a professional demeanor.</li>\n <li>Dealing various games of poker, including but not limited to Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Stud and Draw.</li>\n <li>Dealing various limits, including No Limit, Limit, Spread Limit, and Pot Limit.</li>\n <li>Controlling gaming cards and equipment.</li>\n <li>Protect company assets by monitoring guests’ movements at table at all times.</li>\n <li>Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play.</li>\n <li>Engaging with guests.</li>\n <li>Paying wins/Taking losses.</li>\n <li>Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Speak English clearly, listen and follow directions.</li>\n  <li>Accurately complete paperwork and forms.</li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Use chips, cards, and a paddle.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <li>Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.</li>\n  <li>Perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Knowledge of:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Specified games and gaming regulations.</li>\n  <li>Money and chips designations</li>\n  <li>Theft techniques.</li>\n  <li>Company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Good hand/eye coordination.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent</li>\n <li>At least one (1) year of experience as a casino dealer OR certification from an accredited dealer school.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5% Walking</li>\n <li>95% Sitting</li>\n <li>Bending at times from the waist.</li>\n <li>Repetitive hand motions</li>\n <li>Use of stairs and elevators</li>\n <li>Ability to make repetitive hand motions.</li>\n <li>Use of stairs and elevators</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.</p>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
