    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold\">Student 1:1 Aide - Phoenix Main Campus (4th - 12th Grade)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to safely respond to physically challenging behaviors.</span></em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">AZACS is growing, and we invite you to apply to be part of our award-winning team</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">AZACS was awarded the </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">2023/2024 National ESEA Distinguished Schools Award</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> for Arizona and the </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">2022 YASS Prize </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">for innovation in education and providing a transformational experience by expanding unique individualized learning programs for autism charter schools.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Under the supervision and direction of the Special Education Team and ABA Managers, the Student 1:1 Aide assists a specific student, performing a variety of tasks related to the student's behavioral, adaptive, medical, and instructional needs in a classroom setting.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assists individual students with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts in accordance with the student's individualized education program (IEP).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Works with individual students to reinforce learning of materials or skills as instructed by the teacher.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work as part of a classroom team to support academic instruction and implementation of behavior plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Execute lessons as directed by the teacher or classroom lead. These may include supporting independent work, special projects, or teaching a lesson to a small group.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assists the student in participating in classroom routines, transitions, and self-care tasks as necessary. Self-care activities may be related to medical needs and include eating, dressing, toileting, and grooming.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Implement tier one behavioral supports and behavior intervention techniques in alignment with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as directed by the ABA Manager or Campus Director. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Accompanies and assists the student throughout the school day as necessitated by the IEP.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitor and document daily relevant data associated with the student’s activities of daily living and any medical, behavioral, and/or academic data the team deems necessary.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Obtain and maintain QBS certification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong adherence to policies as outlined in the AZACS Employee Handbook.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain professional conduct and appearance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned by the Managers and Directors.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Special education classroom experience: 2-3 years (preferred).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative in dealing with students, faculty, and the public  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to communicate with co-workers and parents courteously and professionally.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in structured teaching, with a center-based model preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">First aid/CPR certification is required within 30 days of hire</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;
