POSITION AVAILABLE : Data Quality Team Lead – Mumbai - Fulltime Position Summary: Support and lead day-to-day management of the Data Quality Department for a world-class Customer Experience (CX) Research firm. Oversee reporting, communication coordination, and workloads while ensuring the data BARE sends to clients is accurate, clear, and impactful. Essential Duties: Editing • Perform all editing and data checking duties associated with an editor position for premium clients and for editors training on new projects as assigned by the General Manager. • Own the day-to-day execution of editing processes, procedures, data checking tools, and documentation. • Monitor editor performance and communicate feedback to the General Manager with supporting data. • Decrease scope for error, provide client value add, and improve average editing time through continuous feedback and training of data quality team. • Other duties as assigned within the parameters of the role. Managing Projects & KPIs • Work with the GM for monthly planning coverage, projections, and budget. • Manage editor invoicing and editor invoicing reports, event log reports and event stats reports. • Manage the weekly Turn Around Time (TAT) report. • Track quality through Performance Analysis Tracking (PAT) reporting. • Identify and escalate repeated quality errors, training gaps, process issues, and urgent client/reporting concerns to the General Manager, while supporting timely resolution and corrective action. • Support in recruiting, onboarding and training internal and external DQ Team Members. • Coordinate editor requests and client queries, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required. • Generate system-related and other reports as required. People Management • Train, motivate, and provide feedback to all editors. • Coach team members and IC editors as needed. • Work closely with the General Manager with planning, allocation, and monitoring of internal and external editor schedules and workloads to ensure timely and accurate delivery. • Ensure final report quality, data accuracy, consistency, and client-readiness through regular audits, spot checks, feedback, and corrective action. • Celebrate and communicate individual successes. • Attend Global Data Quality and IN Operations monthly meetings as requested. • Lead weekly IN Data Quality Team Meetings. Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: • Graduate with a minimum of 3–4+ years of experience in proofreading/content editing and at least 2+ years of team handling experience. • Knowledge of Microsoft365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT and Publisher). • Daily use of Microsoft Teams and Outlook • Frequent use of Excel (knowledge of creating formulas and pivot tables helpful) • Customer Experience Research / Mystery Shop Industry experience preferred. • Experience working in APOLLO©, Prism and/or Presto desired. • Experience as a mystery shopper is preferred. • Languages: thorough grammatical knowledge of the American English language. • Knowledge and use of proper communication techniques, especially e-mail etiquette. Competency Skills: • Proficient in spelling, grammar, and proofreading. Excellent written and verbal communication of the American English language. • History of providing excellent outcomes while under pressure. • Record of positively reacting to constructive feedback; easily adapts to and accepts change. • Ability to ask for help and clarification when needed. • History of providing feedback professionally and kindly. • Proven ability to understand client requirements and deliver on them accordingly. • Ability to work independently and within a team setting. • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and identify and correct inconsistencies. • History of taking an action-oriented and results-focused approach to responsibilities and objectives. • Proven record of managing time and resources effectively. • Demonstrated history of sound judgement and discreetly handling confidential or proprietary information. • Models BARE's values of diversity, respect, transparency, teamwork, excellence, and integrity. • Demonstrated respect for people of all cultures and diversity. • Approaches work (and life) with passion, dedication, and humour.
