    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Job Description</p>\n<p>Inspects patient care equipment regularly and identifies and repairs problems. Confers with hospital staff regarding equipment. Communicates with equipment manufacturers regarding proper functioning, maintenance and service contracts.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>* Performs repairs, calibrations and maintenance tasks of routine difficulty.</li>\n <li>* Performs periodic inspection and safety testing of low to medium complexity biomedical instrumentation including but is not limited to \n  <ul>\n   <li>Physical Therapy Equipment</li>\n   <li>Infusion/Syringe/Feeding Pumps</li>\n   <li>Telemetry Systems</li>\n   <li>General Lab Equipment (i.e Centrifuges)</li>\n   <li>Nurse Call Systems</li>\n   <li>General Patient Care Equipment</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>* Documents all testing, maintenance and repair work according to departmental procedures.Helps to maintain a current database inventory of hospital biomedical equipment and service histories of equipment</li>\n <li>* Participates in the installation of new equipment.</li>\n <li>* Makes recommendations regarding stocking of parts and acquisition of test equipment</li>\n <li>* Contacts vendors and suppliers as necessary.</li>\n <li>* Performs other job related duties required.</li>\n <li>Performs related duties as required.</li>\n <li>Reports to Clinical Engineering and/or Biomedical Program Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*ADA Essential Functions</p>\n<p>Physical Demands:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment up to approximately 100 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Job Qualification</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent combination of education, required.</li>\n <li>Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of analog, digital and electromechanical skills and knowledge of test instrumentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><strong>*Additional Salary Detail</strong>&nbsp;<br>\n  The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>",
