    "description": "<h2>Opportunity</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a<strong> SOC Operations Analyst </strong>to support our <strong>Huntsville, AL</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues. </li>\n <li>Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. </li>\n <li>Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause. </li>\n <li>Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing. </li>\n <li>Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard. </li>\n <li>Recommend best practices for IT security. </li>\n <li>Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. </li>\n <li>Must be capable of conducting analysis, confirming intrusion information and creating a forensically sound duplicate of the files. </li>\n <li>Decrypts data and provides technical summaries and input. </li>\n <li>Examines recovered data for relevant information and performs dynamic analysis to include timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis. </li>\n <li>Performs real-time cyber defense handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mid: 5 years of experience</li>\n <li>Splunk Enterprise Security </li>\n <li>Must be willing to work a shift schedule- Wed-Sat 6am-4pm</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>Top Secret</strong> clearance <strong>with SCI eligibility</strong> is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active <strong>Top Secret</strong> clearance <strong>with SCI eligibility </strong>upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education Requirements</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS or B.A. Degree</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Microsoft Sentinel </li>\n <li>GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)</li>\n <li>GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)</li>\n <li>GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)</li>\n <li>GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)</li>\n <li>GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><em>People First.
