    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The Custodial Floater provides cleaning and maintenance support throughout campus facilities. This position fills in for regular custodians during absences due to vacation, illness, and or leave, ensuring consistent cleanliness, safety, and appearance standards across all assigned areas.</span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Essential</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Daily cleaning of buildings includes dusting, cleaning windows, floors, walls, and furniture, restroom fixtures, toilets, sinks, etc. Includes the use of custodial tools and equipment.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Custodians are responsible for maintaining the interior spaces from the ceiling to the floor. This includes but not limited to cleaning light fixtures and replacing light bulbs, cleaning HVAC supply and return vents, and changing HVAC filters depending on their location.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Assist other employees as needed.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Adhere to established cleaning schedules and quality standards in various campus buildings.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Secondary</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director and/or Coordinators of the Facilities department.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Minimum Qualifications</span><span> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>High </span><span>school </span><span>diploma </span><span>or equivalent.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Must be a neat, clean individual portraying a positive image to students, staff and community members.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>The ability to cooperate with students, college personnel, and the community.</span></li>\n<li><span>Physical requirements include but are not limited to safely pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, stooping, walking, carrying, climbing, and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds; possess eye/hand/foot coordination sufficient to operate equipment, tools, etc.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>May work in adverse conditions with possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, tissue, and communicable disease.</span></li>\n<li><span>Understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; Visual acuity to view a computer terminal; use appropriate judgment and to apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; Medium/indoor and outdoor work environment.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Physical and mental qualifications must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>The qualifications listed are guidelines for selection purposes; alternative qualifications may be substituted if sufficient to perform the duties.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Successful completion of a physical capacity and drug screen required.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span>Preferred Qualifications</span><span> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Custodial experience preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SALARY and STATUS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The </span><span>employee in t</span><span>h</span><span>is position w</span><span>ill </span><span>wo</span><span>r</span><span>k 40 </span><span>hours </span><span>per week</span><span>. </span><span>This full-time support staff </span><span>position </span><span>i</span><span>s 12 months ann</span><span>u</span><span>al, benefit e</span><span>l</span><span>ig</span><span>ibl</span><span>e, </span><span>nonexempt, </span><span>and at-w</span><span>ill.</span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
