We are seeking individuals that want to advance their career and join our great team. </strong><strong>Manufacturing experience preferred! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$21.85 to $32.78 an hour - paid weekly (Based on Experience)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shifts available: </strong>(E Shift)7:00 AM- 3:30 PM</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The site Hourly Safety Lead’s role is to have an active role in the location safety and health programs that lead to injury prevention, compliance improvements, and enhanced employee engagement.</p>\n<p>The primary job duties and responsibilities will include improving the injury prevention, employee engagement, and compliance activities at the assigned location</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Active participant on all location employee led team projects.</li>\n <li> Communicate team projects to peers and location leaders.</li>\n <li> Serve as the location Subject Matter Expert on Behavior Based Safety (BBS) and train co-workers on the   BBS Program.</li>\n <li> Conduct (when appropriate) Safety Training (Monthly, Refresher, Initial, etc) for peers, new hires, visitors,   and vendors.</li>\n <li> Audit On-The-Job Training for gaps. Identify and help correct gaps identified in the On-The-Job Training   programs.</li>\n <li> Participate in Tier I and Tier II Sessions. The Safety Lead will have responsibilities for safety board   updates and safety related follow-ups identified during the sessions.</li>\n <li> Train leaders and peers on the 1 on 1 Engagements and Near Miss Reporting Programs. Analyze data   generated by existing programs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.</li>\n <li> Follow-up on Safety Flashes/Alerts from other locations.</li>\n <li> Honor the site specific standard work activities assigned to the Site Safety Lead</li>\n <li> Other tasks aligned with the compliance, injury prevention, and employee engagement initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Safety</strong><strong> </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Seek to understand and support a safety culture and workplace  </li>\n <li>Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job  </li>\n <li>Responsible for following all required safety procedures are for each task you do  </li>\n <li>Keep work area clean and organized   </li>\n <li>Report any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Quality</strong><strong> </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all GMP guidelines required by the site and for each work station </li>\n <li>Inspect all product passing through the workstation for any possible defects or product concerns </li>\n <li>Report any concerns on quality of product immediately to appropriate supervision on shift  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Passionate about safety as it relates to employee engagements, compliance, and injury prevention.</li>\n <li>Baseline knowledge of programs such as Lockout Tag out, PPE, Machine Guarding, Forklift Safety, Behavior Based Safety, 1 on 1 Engagements, Employee Led Teams, etc.</li>\n <li>Basic Microsoft skills (outlook, power point, word, etc.).</li>\n <li>Competent in the use of a calculator and ruler/tape measure.</li>\n <li>Proficient in the English Language (read, write, talk).</li>\n <li>Capable of communicating in front of large groups and interacting with peers and site leaders.</li>\n <li>Reliable/Dependable as it relates to completing work assignments.</li>\n <li>Accomplished in coaching peers. Willingness to coach leaders.</li>\n <li>Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing/warehouse environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Safety Lead will primarily work Monday through Friday.</li>\n <li>The Site Safety Lead may need to work on weekends, holidays, or alternative shifts.</li>\n <li>Non-traditional work schedules will be based on location needs or specific situations.</li>\n <li>Non-traditional work schedules will almost always be planned and coordinated in advance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is in a manufacturing location.
