Come and work with the best of the best at Envoy Air where you will join a team committed to providing outstanding service.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Amazing employee flight privileges within the American Airlines global network</li>\n <li>Training and development programs to take your career to the next level</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and life benefits (subject to location)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>How will you make an impact?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the safe and effective ground movement of Envoy’s aircraft, including conducting safe start-up procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the tug operator is in contact with the aircraft cockpit before any equipment is connected.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the appropriate equipment is being used for the type and weight of aircraft.</li>\n <li>Ensure operational inspection of tow tractor and tow bar before every use.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the tow bar is properly connected to the tow tractor and aircraft.</li>\n <li>Immediately stop tow operations when signaled by any member of towing/push back crew.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the minimum towing distance of 50 meters between operations is maintained and the towing speed of 8km an hour is not exceeded.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Who are we looking for?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, GED or International equivalent</li>\n <li>Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role. </li>\n <li>Minimum of two years’ experience in Ground/Airport Handling type of operations</li>\n <li>Familiar with Marshalling Signals</li>\n <li>Valid National light vehicle and tow tractors driver’s license</li>\n <li>Familiar in the use of two way radio communication.</li>\n <li>In possession of a Basic Airside Induction Certificate.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (Verbal/Written).</li>\n <li>Must be a self-starter and be able to find solutions in an austere environment.</li>\n <li>Previous experience as a Tow Crew Member preferred.</li>\n <li>Required to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.</li>\n <li>Frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 20 pounds.  Occasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Most heavy lifting is accomplished through the use of mechanical devices.</li>\n <li>May work in Aircraft maintenance hangar or on flight line.</li>\n <li>May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft.</li>\n <li>May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please note: The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
