    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>POSITION OBJECTIVES: Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to Assembly Mechanic IV or Production Manager.</p><p><br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Build new pumps, provide assistance in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and controls.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain test standards and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Know, understand, and abide by environmental policies.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Use specialized equipment such as tape measure, band saw, hand grinders, steam cleaner etc.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform basic metalworking duties such as measuring, cutting, grinding, drilling and deburring parts.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Operate forklift to unload and handle raw materials.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assemble components using basic hand tools.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Read and follow blueprints and work instructions.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform a wide range of shop duties to support the Engineering Group.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain work area and equipment.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform other related duties as assigned.<br><br>QUALIFICATIONS:</p><p><br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High School diploma or GED required; graduate of a technical/vocational training program is preferred. Industry Certification Preferred.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Entry Level Position.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must have good working knowledge of D.C. electrical systems and troubleshooting.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Requires the ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshooting guides.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The ability to work productively in teams as well as individually.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to write simple correspondence.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.<br>&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Equal Opportunity Employer</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
