As the global regulatory body, WADA’s primary role is to develop, harmonize and coordinate anti-doping rules and policies across all sports and countries. WADA’s IT group is responsible for development and maintenance of several large scale, and complex web application systems that support various anti-doping activities.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Under the supervision of the Head of Development, the API Developer will be responsible for managing the implementation, integration and support of Application Programming Interface (API) development with external stakeholders, and ensure the adherence of security and reliability principles in software development. font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The ideal candidate is a specialized software developer with expertise in API integration and cybersecurity.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Software or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">5 - 7 years experience in software development with expertise in supporting external stakeholders with REST API integration;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Proficiency in programming languages (Java, scripting languages), secure coding practices, security and monitoring tools;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Strong understanding of software, networking and security concepts, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes, develop effective solutions and explain/document technical information clearly and concisely;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ability to synthesize customer requests into technical requirements, communicate and follow through on requirements discussions and prioritization;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ability to effectively communicate security risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Mendix or DevOps experience is an asset;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
