Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.</p><p><strong><u>Pay:</u></strong><br>Pay starts at $20.14 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.</p><p><strong><u>Be part of something remarkable</u></strong><br>Be the first point of contact for UW Health patients and ensure they receive a remarkable experience.</p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Patient Scheduling Specialist</strong> to:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Utilize your excellent customer service skills to schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Make an impact on the patient experience by making it easier for patients to schedule appointments across multiple locations with just one phone call.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist patients and their families with their appointment scheduling needs.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments. &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.</p><p><strong><u>At UW Health, you’ll receive:</u></strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Generous benefits package, including health insurance, and paid time off.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Professional growth and career advancement opportunities available.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Free bus pass to get to and from work.</p><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong><br>Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent.<br>Preferred - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field.</p><p><strong><u>Work Experience:</u></strong><br>Minimum – One (1) year of previous experience in an office or customer service environment.<br>Preferred - Previous experience working in healthcare. Previous experience scheduling of patients.
