This role focuses on designing, building, optimising, and maintaining enterprise-level data solutions.</p>\n<p>You will work across the full data lifecycle, delivering scalable, high-performance solutions using Azure and tools such as Databricks and Fabric.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who We’re Looking For</span></span></p>\n<p>A strong Data Engineer with deep technical expertise in Azure, Databricks and Fabric, who enjoys working in a collaborative, client-facing environment and thrives at designing and delivering enterprise-level data solutions, spanning initial requirements gathering, proof-of-concept development, architecture planning, deployment and delivery.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p>· Develop solutions using Azure Databricks and/or Fabric</p>\n<p>· Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)</p>\n<p>· Develop data warehouse and lakehouse solutions</p>\n<p>· Support BI, analytics, and AI workloads</p>\n<p>· Optimise performance, cost, and reliability</p>\n<p>· Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mandatory Requirements</span></span></p>\n<p>· Proven ability to make both high-level strategic and day-to-day operational decisions with confidence</p>\n<p>· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of motivating and influencing stakeholders at all levels</p>\n<p>· Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to proactively spot emerging opportunities and resolve challenges before they escalate</p>\n<p>· Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Fabric</p>\n<p>· Strong SQL and data warehousing expertise</p>\n<p>· Experience with data modelling</p>\n<p>· Experience with Databricks AI/BI or Power BI</p>\n<p>· Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></span></p>\n<p>· Experience in consulting / professional services</p>\n<p>· Exposure to AI and advanced analytics solutions</p>\n<p>· Exposure to Agentic AI systems built on top of Large Language Models</p>\n<p>· Experience with real-time / streaming data</p>\n<p>· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)</p>\n<p>· Experience in regulated industries</p>\n<p>· Passionate about staying at the forefront of industry developments, with a habit of actively monitoring emerging trends, tools, and technologies</p>\n<p>· Databricks/Microsoft Azure certifications</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Soft Skills</span></span></p>\n<p>· Strong problem-solving skills</p>\n<p>· Collaborative and team-oriented mindset</p>\n<p>· Clear communication and documentation skills</p>\n<p>· Ability to work in fast-paced delivery environments</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Contract Details</span></span></p>\n<p>· Role Type: Permanent &amp; Hybrid (2 days per week)</p>\n<p>· Location: Guildford</p>\n<p>· Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) or active SC</p>\n<p><br></p>",
