In this role, you’ll be responsible for collecting data from insured businesses, scheduling and conducting remote audit interviews, and compiling thorough audit reports for insurance providers.<br><br><b>You will be:</b><ul><li>Travel to various on-site audits to gather essential financial data. <strong>Travel expectation: Drive up to one hour each way to reach assigned sites.</strong></li><li>Analyze complex financial records to ensure accurate premium calculations.</li><li>Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit findings.</li><li>Build strong relationships with clients and maintain a professional demeanor.</li></ul><b>What you need to be successful:</b><ul><li><b>*Candidates must reside in or in the immediate area of Waco or College Station, TX.</b></li><li>Personal phone and laptop or computer.</li><li>The ability to dissect financial information and identify discrepancies.</li><li>Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., Nexus, Future Audit) is preferred.</li><li>The ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.</li><li>The flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and work independently.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Insurance audit experience preferred.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficient computer skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented and accurate.</li><li>Positive and proactive attitude.</li><li>Experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred.</li><li>Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is beneficial.</li><li>A strong understanding of audit processes and procedures is preferred.</li></ul><b>Your Compensation:</b><br>As a contractor, you have the flexibility to propose your own rate for this engagement. Compensation will be based on the mutually agreed rate between the contractor and the company, taking into consideration the scope of work, experience, and industry standards. Please provide your desired hourly or project-based rate when applying. Note that as a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and any other employment-related expenses.
