    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Tri-State may require you to demonstrate that you can perform the essential job functions.&nbsp; You may be required to complete a successful Background Check.&nbsp; Benefits are available through the Operations and Maintenance Agreement.</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Must have a satisfactory work record.</li>\n <li>Must successfully pass the following Tri-State Tests:\n  <ol>\n   <li>Transmission “Lineman Qualification” Test with a 75% or better score.</li>\n   <li>Transmission Lineman “Wood Pole and Steel Structure Climbing” Practical (hands-on) Test with a 75% or better score.</li>\n  </ol></li>\n <li>Requires an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or certificate of completion from an accredited Line Worker Program. <strong>OR </strong>The equivalent combination of education and experience in electrical transmission maintenance which would consist of electrical utility line maintenance experience which must include work on transmission structures, aerial conductors/insulating assemblies, and equipment usage (i.e. climbing tools, man lifts, hot sticks, etc.)</li>\n <li>Must have and maintain, or be able to obtain within 6 months, a valid Colorado Class ‘A’ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no Air Brake Restrictions.</li>\n <li>Must have and maintain or be able to obtain and maintain a First Aid and CPR Certification within 6 months of hire and have the ability to perform First Aid and CPR.</li>\n <li>Must have a willingness to work in and around high voltages common to the electrical utility industry.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to accept overnight travel up to 75% of working time.</li>\n <li>Must reside within 60 minutes’ response time from your regular reporting location.</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to work extra and irregular hours as the utility needs may require, and willing and able to work under unusual or special working conditions such as storms, extreme temperatures, winds, darkness, etc.</li>\n <li>Must have sufficient knowledge and skill in the safe use of basic hand tools, power tools, and hot line tools.</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to demonstrate the ability to climb steel or wooden structures and work at various heights.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to ride in a helicopter or fixed wing aircraft for the purpose of performing Line Inspections.</li>\n</ol>\n<p style=\"margin-left:.5pt;\">Tri-State may require you to demonstrate that you can perform the essential job functions.</p>",
