          "text": "<p><strong><u>Summary:</u></strong></p><p>The <strong>Service Porter</strong> supports the service department by greeting customers, moving and parking vehicles, and ensuring the dealership’s service area is clean, organized, and efficient. This role helps create a positive customer experience while maintaining smooth service drive operations.</p><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude; answer questions and direct them to the appropriate person or location.</li><li>Determine if customers have service appointments and record customer name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and note any existing vehicle damage (walk-around).</li><li>Move and park vehicles on dealership premises to maintain a smooth traffic flow.</li><li>Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.</li><li>Keep the lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and direct guests to the correct personnel.</li><li>Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up, deliver vehicle, and thank customers.</li><li>Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all vehicles.</li><li>Assist the service department as needed, such as replenishing fluids or minor vehicle assistance.</li><li>Follow all company safety policies and report any accidents immediately to a manager or supervisor.</li></ul>",
