The incumbent will also maintain the nursing department schedule.&nbsp;</p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Responsible for creating, managing and maintaining schedules for clinical staff, daily floor assignments; a monthly master schedules and the resident escort schedules.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Must have excellent computer skills and experience with Excel spreadsheets.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Must be available to work the floors, as needed, be on-call 24/7 and take call offs by medical team.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Ensure that charting is completed by all medical staff.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Provide assistance in personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Provide assistance in ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; and maintaining licensure.</li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong>&nbsp;<em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
