Wage for this position will be $25+ depending on experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Things You’ll Do</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.</li>\n <li>Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.</li>\n <li>Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, cover pipes with earth or other materials, cut pipes to required lengths.</li>\n <li>Dig trenches to required depths.</li>\n <li>Read, identify, and understand blueprints related to all above and below ground utilities.</li>\n <li>Grade or level trench bases, using tamping machines or other hand tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 1-year pipelaying experience with underground utilities or a similar field</li>\n <li>Extensive knowledge of water, sewer and storm drain systems as well as dry utilities and other civil related projects.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of pipe laying methods, practices, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.</li>\n <li>Attention and commitment to safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>At Suncore, we value people.
