Other duties will include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A focus on front counter customer service and sales utilizing your previous automotive parts/service and wheel/tire experience</li>\n <li>Recommending vehicle service, providing service quotes, and receiving customer authorization for work to be performed</li>\n <li>Sharing product knowledge and technical expertise to provide excellent customer service on the front counter </li>\n <li>Assisting with the completion of an annual budget; this includes forecasting revenue and expenditures, accurately tracking budget numbers with particular attention to achieving operational benchmarks</li>\n <li>Assisting with the recruitment and development of a team of Associates dedicated to providing a superior customer experience</li>\n <li>Supervise and motivate associates to ensure maximum productivity</li>\n <li>Ensure all safety policies and procedures are implemented</li>\n <li>Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts</li>\n <li>Assist in identifying and following up on outstanding accounts receivable/credit clients</li>\n <li>Ensure store associates have completed all assigned training; providing feedback and reinforcement as required</li>\n <li>Attentively handle customer complaints within a reasonable timeframe and maintain documentation of complaints and resolutions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What does it take to get on track?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience in the automotive industry required</li>\n <li>Completion of high school diploma or GED and a post-secondary diploma, degree, or certification is preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience as an assistant manager, service writer or service manager is an asset</li>\n <li>Proven leadership ability and previous people management experience (recruitment/discipline) is an asset. </li>\n <li>Strong computer skills</li>\n <li>Ability to set goals and achieve results</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver's abstract</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with customers and team</li>\n <li>Organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>At Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work!
