Medical, dental vision, 401k and many other benefits are available without a waiting period.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Set up and operate machine tools to process machine metal work pieces according to project specifications, Finish tooling instructions and standard charts.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities-</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Operates machine tools to include lathes, milling machines, grinders, swages and bending machines in accordance with training and safety procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Reads blueprints or job orders to obtain product specifications (dimensions and tolerances) and tooling instructions (fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut and cutting tools). </p></li>\n <li><p>Applies knowledge of machining methods.</p></li>\n <li>Positions and secures work pieces to holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers or fixtures using clamps and wrenches. </li>\n <li>Sets specified feeds, speeds and depth of cut in accordance with product specifications and tooling instructions.</li>\n <li>Observes operation and verifies conformance of machined work pieces to specifications using measuring instruments such as fixed gauges, calipers, comparators and micrometers. </li>\n <li>Maintains tools, gauges and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly manner.</li>\n <li><p>Consults management to analyze product information to include product design capacity, purpose, and type of materials to be used in fabrication or to analyze written specifications, drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to plan layouts and determine sequences of operations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notifies management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.</p></li>\n <li>Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.</li>\n <li>Other general duties as directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications-</h2>\n<p>Previous Machinist/Toolmaker/CNC Set Up experience in a manufacturing environment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
