The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple payroll responsibilities while complying with state and federal labor laws. This role is critical in ensuring our employees receive accurate compensation, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.</p><p><br></p><p>The Payroll Specialist will report to the Payroll Manager and work a hybrid schedule, three or more days per week in the Support Center office.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Review and validate employee hours, pay rates, overtime, and deductions.</li><li>Ensure all payroll tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and contributions are correct.</li><li>Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for payroll inquiries and change requests.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal labor laws affecting payroll processing.</li><li>Assisted in payroll audits and ensured adherence to healthcare industry compliance standards.</li><li>Generate and submit quarterly, annual (W-2), and ad hoc reports as required.</li><li>Assist with payroll-related projects and process improvements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>#LowLC1</p>",
