Pay Range: $25 $32 / Hr DOE Job Type: Part Time (Approx. 25 30 H, in office (Boise, ID — not remote) Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one to two years of experience in an administrative, scheduling, or permitting role, preferably within the construction, roofing, or home services industry. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries across overlapping projects. Experience managing production calendars and adjusting schedules in response to weather, inspections, material delays, and changing customer needs. Comfort working in a fast paced environment where priorities shift daily. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience with CRM or project management software such as Rooflink, JobNimbus, AccuLynx, or similar platforms. Ability to learn new systems quickly. Familiarity with online permitting portals (e.g., Ada County's MyGovernmentOnline or similar e permitting systems) is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with homeowners, project managers, building department staff, inspectors, and subcontractors. Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as occasional trips to municipal building departments may be required. Ability to pass a background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Availability to work standard business hours with occasional flexibility during peak season. Nice to have Experience Experience working with construction projects and permitting process. Working familiarity with the building permit process in Ada County and surrounding jurisdictions (Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Kuna). Ability to prepare, submit, and track residential and commercial permit applications, including roofing, siding, gutter, and window permits. Understanding of basic International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC) requirements as they relate to exterior work is preferred. Who You Are A highly organized individual with strong written and verbal communication skills Someone who brings structure and systems to growing teams A strong collaborator across departments Self directed, with a high level of ownership and execution What You’ll Do Consistently maintain a two week backlog for all jobs in your assigned region. Communicate with customers within three days of job approval, and every two weeks thereafter. Proper documentation of all conversations in RoofLink notes. Utilize the install spreadsheet and production dashboard to schedule jobs efficiently based on approval date, and geographic location, and maintain situational awareness for Production staff. Schedule all work orders based on crew availability and proficiency, and send out work orders from RoofLink to the appropriate parties. Schedule all Material Orders based on supplier availability and within the required time frame for delivery. Order all permits through their applicable portals each week for the following week’s installs. Schedule all applicable inspections for an appropriate timeframe based on job scope, progress, and QC availability. Input all permit and inspection information into RoofLink. Update the scheduling spreadsheet to maintain accurate situation awareness for Production staff.
