They will also Provide direct interaction with all team members involved in shipping orders, provide assistance and guidance to employees on issues related to the shipping department. Managing the end of the day cleaning duties. Shipping Supervisor is responsible for coaching employees. Good coaching involves working with employees to establish suitable goals, action plans and timelines. The supervisor delegates and also provides ongoing guidance and support to the employee as they complete their action plans. Responsible to ensure that employees follow the organization&#39;s policies and procedures. Join a company that invests in you from day one.</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">WHAT YOU WILL DO</span></strong></p><ul><li>Prepare daily attendance and performance employees&rsquo; report.</li><li>Prepare and Conduct team kick off meetings</li><li>Monitor orders screen daily.</li><li>Monitoring employees breaks.</li><li>Responsible for accident investigation reports.</li><li>Trouble Shoot and resolve issues related to the shipping process.</li><li>Ability to think on feet and make operational decisions in order to achieve shipping cut-offs.</li><li>Perform annual performance evaluations.</li><li>Provide leadership to all department employees.</li><li>Verify and enforce compliance of the SOP&rsquo;s</li><li>Provide involvement in the planning and execution of special projects related to the Shipping process</li><li>Monitor workflow and adjust practices as required to ensure quality and timely shipment of orders.</li><li>Act professionally and remain focused while working</li><li>Safely operate all warehouse equipment</li><li>Attend meetings as assigned</li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned by management</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">WHAT WE&#39;RE LOOKING FOR</span></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2+ years of warehouse experience, including prior management or supervisory experience.</li><li>Lead daily activities of warehouse employees, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, ensuring accuracy, providing guidance on complex issues.</li><li>Promote team spirit through Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, enhancing cooperation and internal process improvements.</li><li>Skilled in interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching, and development.</li><li>Adaptable and self-driven to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>Effective communicator capable of explaining processes clearly.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills, capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.</li><li>Positive attitude with the ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED</span></strong></p><p>Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS</span></strong></p><p>In performing the job of a Shipping Supervisor, the job will be divided between office time and floor presence which may include standing and walking for 5+ hours per day. Additionally, the position will require the operations of a stock chaser to move throughout the warehouse.
