The Senior Technical Product Manager<span> </span></span><span>is</span><span><span> </span>a critical role that bridges engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure these regulated products are delivered securely, reliably, and efficiently to healthcare<span> </span></span><span>organisations</span><span><span> </span>globally. This role sets the strategic direction for the platform, driving initiatives that reduce time-to-market, accelerate customer time-to-value, ensure operational excellence, enable the secure flow of data to<span> </span></span><span>Lunit’s</span><span><span> </span>Data and AI Platforms, and effectively manage risks related to patient safety, privacy, information security, and regulatory compliance.</span></span><span style=\"color: rgb(21, 22, 22); font-size: 10pt\"> </span><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Owns and drives the strategic roadmap for the Cancer Screening Cloud Platform, aligning with the group’s long-term vision and reducing time-to-market for products.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Collaborates with product development pods to understand their needs and address them through the platform roadmap, accelerating customer time-to-value.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Understands and addresses the needs of operational teams, driving improvements to operational efficiency and reducing time to enable customers and resolve support issues.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Optimises operational costs including cloud hosting charges, ensuring the platform delivers value efficiently at scale.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Enables the secure, privacy-compliant flow of data between customer clinical systems, platform-hosted products, and Lunit’s Data Platform — supporting analytics, customer operations, and AI model research and development.</span><span> </span><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Contributes to assessment and management of risks associated with information security, patient privacy, regulatory compliance, standards conformance, and customer contractual obligations. Ensures platform risk controls are tracked, monitored, and optimised.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Meets with IT and Information Security stakeholders from customers to establish credibility and trust that Lunit’s platform can securely and reliably operate critical clinical workflows.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Indirectly leads a pod of ~10 engineers toward the platform vision, managing strategic and tactical activities toward release objectives.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Collaborates across time zones with teams in Wellington, Seoul, North America, Europe, and APAC.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Advises and mentors product managers and stakeholders on platform strategy, process, and direction.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Experience &amp; Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>8+ years of experience in technical product management, platform engineering leadership, or equivalent roles.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) including cloud cost optimisation.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience in the healthcare industry with understanding of healthcare IT systems and clinical workflows.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g. DICOM, HL7/FHIR, PACS, RIS, EHR integrations).</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Understanding of information security, privacy, and compliance standards relevant to healthcare (e.g. HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Proven ability to collaborate with highly technical engineering teams and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience setting strategy, managing backlogs, roadmaps, and release planning in an Agile environment.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills across diverse teams and geographies.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Ability to lead teams across time zones, including New Zealand, South Korea, North America, and Europe.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Comfortable engaging with senior IT and InfoSec stakeholders from large healthcare organisations.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience with regulated products, ideally Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), including quality management and regulatory compliance (e.g. FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience with mammography, cancer screening, radiology, or disease risk assessment products.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience driving platform expansion into new markets and managing global adoption.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Familiarity with DevOps/SRE practices, observability tooling, and incident management.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span>Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, or data governance in a regulated environment.</span><span> </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Design Thinking, Pragmatic Marketing, or similar product management framework experience</span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">What else do you need to know?</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This is a hybrid role, and you will need to be able to work out of our Wellington CBD office at least three days per week.
