    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Construction Field Operations Intern </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>J. Benton Construction, LLC is seeking a Field Operations Co-op to gain hands-on experience supporting active construction projects in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This role provides direct exposure to Superintendents and project teams while developing real-world skills in construction management, field coordination, and project documentation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in administering the project safety program to help maintain a safe and healthy work environment</li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance to the project team, including interpretation of contract drawings, specifications, and submittals</li>\n<li>Support the Assistant Superintendent, Project Superintendent, and Project Manager with daily and weekly field operations tasks, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Daily reports</li>\n<li>Daily safety walks</li>\n<li>Weekly quantity tracking</li>\n<li>Weekly schedule updates</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Develop an understanding of the project schedule and critical path activities</li>\n<li>Review and support development of short-term work plans</li>\n<li>Participate in the project quality program, including attending meetings, performing inspections, and verifying materials</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Experience &amp; Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (required)</li>\n<li>Strong preference given to students studying Civil Engineering or a construction-related discipline</li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in construction management and the construction industry</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities</li>\n<li>Outstanding attention to detail</li>\n<li>Effective time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple responsibilities</li>\n<li>Previous internship experience in the construction industry strongly preferred</li>\n<li>Previous work experience in the U.S. construction industry strongly preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Internship Support &amp; Benefits</span><br>J.
