Based out of the Post Falls, ID. facility, the Freight &amp; Logistics Manager will manage our inbound transportation and logistics activities, focusing on achieving cost effective, timely material deliveries to our facilities.</p><p><strong>Primary Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate the logistical transportation planning activities to include road, air, and sea for materials</li><li>Thorough understanding and management of Incoterms to help ensure smooth transactions</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance and management of all necessary documentation associated with the transportation of goods across international borders; experience in navigating the customs process to ensure on time delivery of products</li><li>Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers, including performance, service levels, and rate negotiations</li><li>Focus on freight cost optimization by reviewing and analyzing possible transportation consolidations, routes, and modes while maintaining adherence to service levels&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate logistics documentation and support audits related to freight and trade compliance</li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field</li><li>5+ years applicable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Working knowledge of incoterms, international shipping, and customs import/export requirements</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li><li>Clear written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Why Choose Us?&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Raycap, Inc. has decades of experience creating products that protect and support the world&rsquo;s most valuable assets from power and lightning surges.
