    "description_html": "<p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><p>· Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order</p><p>· Perform preventative maintenance</p><p>· Complete and document daily inspections</p><p>· Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes</p><p>· Obtain oversize and weight permits</p><p>· Maintain driver logs according to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations</p><p>· Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles promptly</p><p>· Secure cargo for transport or towing with applicable restraints including appropriate blocks, chains, binders, or straps where applicable.</p><p>· Stop at all weigh stations along routes to comply with federal, state and local regulations</p><p>· Drive trucks with capacities greater than 26,000 GVRW, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport, tow, and deliver products and other materials</p><p>· Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required</p><p>· Inventory and inspect goods to be transported; note any discrepancies in quantities or conditions</p><p>· Other duties as assigned</p>",
