This position is open to <strong>Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or </strong><strong>Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).</strong> This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following:</strong> </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Iowa Board of Nursing </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA) </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred </li>\n   <li>Familiarity with EPIC a plus! </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
