          "text": "<p>Title: Senior DATABASE ARCHITECT</p><p>Location : Chanhassen, MN</p><p>Duration : 3 plus months</p><p><br /></p><p>Need only locals to MN</p><p><br /></p><p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p><p>Support the Database Team by designing and developing stored procedures, creating database SQL schemas and general performance tuning.</p><p><br /></p><p>GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  </p><p>Database Development</p><p>1.\tProduces database schemas and changes based on developer provided data requirements, including creating tables, indexes, views, triggers and storage procedures</p><p>2.\tInitiates database change request process on all database related changes and verify Database Team is following SOX compliance guidelines </p><p>3.\tOversee database change request process on all database related changes, review SQL code for  Data Architects, and provide formal approval</p><p>4.\tSupport creation of ad hoc queries for the business and technical teams as needed</p><p>5.\tDetermine application database access security and follow formal approval process</p><p>6.\tMonitors the growth of production databases to determine future capacity needs and upgrades</p><p>7.\tProduces technical and functional data dictionaries and diagrams of systems</p><p>8.\tProduces scripts to convert data for system migrations and upgrades</p><p>9.\tAssists software development groups with database related issues</p><p>10.\tOversee performance tuning and optimization of all databases servers </p><p><br /></p><p>Other Duties</p><p>1.\tFollow SQL coding standards</p><p>2.\tVerify compliance standards are followed on database servers</p><p>3.\tReview and approve SQL scripts for other Data Architects </p><p>4.\tProvide database technical consulting to Data Warehouse Architects, IT, and the business </p><p>5.\tOn-call support on a rotating schedule</p><p>6.\tProvide technical leadership and supervision to Database Team </p><p><br /></p>",
