style=\"margin-left:8pt\">This position is responsible to plan, perform, and document Quality Control (QC) inspections in one or more specialized areas with minimal supervision at the Piketon and vendor/supplier facilities. &nbsp;Personnel in this position are experienced in Quality Control inspection and acceptance and will ensure Quality requirements are met in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations.</p>\n  <p><strong>What You Will Be Doing:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Plans,&nbsp;performs,&nbsp;and&nbsp;documents&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;inspection&nbsp;activities</li>\n   <li>Plans&nbsp;and&nbsp;performs&nbsp;oversight&nbsp;and&nbsp;monitoring&nbsp;of&nbsp;manufacturing,&nbsp;construction,&nbsp;or&nbsp;operations activities as assigned</li>\n   <li>Identifies&nbsp;and&nbsp;documents&nbsp;nonconforming&nbsp;conditions</li>\n   <li>Follows&nbsp;Document&nbsp;Control&nbsp;and&nbsp;Records&nbsp;Management&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;for&nbsp;filing&nbsp;and&nbsp;retrieving quality/non-quality inspection records and procedures</li>\n   <li>Reinspects&nbsp;reworked&nbsp;or&nbsp;repaired&nbsp;items&nbsp;to&nbsp;verify&nbsp;completion&nbsp;and&nbsp;effectiveness&nbsp;of&nbsp;corrective&nbsp;actions and closes them out as appropriate</li>\n   <li>Interfaces&nbsp;with&nbsp;outside&nbsp;contractors&nbsp;to&nbsp;develop&nbsp;and&nbsp;complete&nbsp;QC&nbsp;inspection&nbsp;plans&nbsp;as&nbsp;needed</li>\n   <li>Supports&nbsp;supplier&nbsp;selection&nbsp;and&nbsp;performance&nbsp;evaluation&nbsp;activities</li>\n   <li>Plan&nbsp;and&nbsp;perform&nbsp;commercial&nbsp;grade&nbsp;surveys&nbsp;and&nbsp;other&nbsp;commercial&nbsp;grade&nbsp;dedication&nbsp;activities&nbsp;as needed</li>\n   <li>Supports&nbsp;Readiness&nbsp;Assessments,&nbsp;Independent&nbsp;Readiness&nbsp;Reviews,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Operational&nbsp;Readiness Reviews as assigned</li>\n   <li>Serves&nbsp;on&nbsp;audit&nbsp;teams&nbsp;as&nbsp;needed</li>\n   <li>Serve&nbsp;as&nbsp;an&nbsp;Investigation&nbsp;Team&nbsp;member&nbsp;when&nbsp;assigned</li>\n   <li>Interfaces&nbsp;with&nbsp;regulators,&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;NRC&nbsp;or&nbsp;DOE,&nbsp;during&nbsp;inspections&nbsp;and&nbsp;assessments</li>\n   <li>Performs&nbsp;other&nbsp;related&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;and&nbsp;as&nbsp;specified&nbsp;in&nbsp;QA&nbsp;and&nbsp;QC&nbsp;procedures</li>\n   <li>Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved&nbsp;safety&nbsp;policies,&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;and&nbsp;applicable&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;and&nbsp;performs&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;duties&nbsp;in&nbsp;a safe manner</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Associate&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;related&nbsp;field&nbsp;or&nbsp;equivalent&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;experience.&nbsp;Typical&nbsp;experience&nbsp;ranges from 2+ years of inspection/assessment experience in an industrial or nuclear setting</li>\n  <li>Experience&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;quality&nbsp;control&nbsp;role&nbsp;for&nbsp;design&nbsp;and&nbsp;construction&nbsp;and&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;field construction activities.</li>\n  <li>Requires&nbsp;proficient&nbsp;computer&nbsp;skills,&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;but&nbsp;not&nbsp;limited&nbsp;to,&nbsp;Word,&nbsp;Excel,&nbsp;Access,&nbsp;PowerPoint, Adobe to process records and generate reports, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations</li>\n  <li>Must&nbsp;possess&nbsp;or&nbsp;be&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;obtain&nbsp;and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a&nbsp;“Q”&nbsp;level&nbsp;security&nbsp;clearance</li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong>A Successful Candidate <li>Receiving,&nbsp;Dimensional,&nbsp;Mechanical,&nbsp;Electrical,&nbsp;or&nbsp;Civil&nbsp;Inspection</li>\n    <li>Visual&nbsp;Weld&nbsp;Inspection&nbsp;(AWS&nbsp;CWI&nbsp;preferred)</li>\n    <li>Leak&nbsp;Testing&nbsp;(Helium&nbsp;Leak&nbsp;Testing&nbsp;preferred)</li>\n    <li>Liquid&nbsp;Penetrant,&nbsp;Magnetic&nbsp;Particle,&nbsp;Radiographic,&nbsp;or&nbsp;Ultrasonic&nbsp;Inspection</li>\n   </ul></li>\n  <li>BS-Science&nbsp;or&nbsp;Technical&nbsp;education</li>\n  <li>American&nbsp;Society&nbsp;for&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;(ASQ)&nbsp;Certifications</li>\n  <li>Lead&nbsp;NQA-1&nbsp;Auditor&nbsp;Certification</li>\n
