Control, manipulate, fabricate, and repair rigging and support structures. Requires the use of hand, flag, and/or verbal signals to communicate to operators and others. Riggers may drive a commercial vehicle, perform maintenance or welding/fabrication functions, assist in warehouse activities, or perform other tasks as necessary when not rigging.&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Cambria\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Cambria\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:-0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Visually inspect and test rigging materials to ensure safety and reliability.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Use hand and/or power tools to attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare for moving. May also secure machinery or equipment to prevent movement.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Select appropriate gear such as cables, pulleys, vices, winches, etc. according to load weights and sizes, work area, and job specifications.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Be aware of obstacles, surrounding structures, barriers or objects and the location of other people.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Signal or verbally communicate with workers and others engaged in hoisting, suspending, and moving loads to ensure the safety of workers and materials.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials, heavy equipment and/or machinery.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chainfalls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver over, under, and/or around obstacles, using multi-point suspension techniques.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Install ground rigging for yarding lines utilizing chokers and logs, other tools as necessary.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Assist in fabrication, set up, and repair of rigging, supporting structures, hoists, and pulling gear, using hand and power tools.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps.&nbsp;</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Dismantle, inspect, clean, organize and store rigging equipment after use.</span></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;\">Run, operate, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, ariel lifts.</span></li></ul><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Cambria\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Cambria\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education</u></strong></span></p><ul><li>High School Diploma preferred</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Minimum two (2) years of machinery moving experience or comparable field experience in the construction service industry.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">OSHA 10 for Construction&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">OSHA 30 preferred not required</li></ul><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Cambria\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</u></strong></span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">This is very physical, hands-on work.
