Description
Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled M365 / SharePoint Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale collaboration solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role focuses on SharePoint Online engineering, governance, automation, and integration with the broader M365 platform including Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Entra ID, and Microsoft Graph.
You will be responsible for engineering modern digital workplace solutions, improving information architecture, driving automation, governing content lifecycle, and ensuring platform reliability and security.
The ideal candidate brings both deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities. You will work closely with the development lead, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
Ø Custom Solution Deployments Ø Deploy custom solutions to Dev, QA and prod environments o Manage SharePoint Search schema, content types, site designs, and managed metadata o Implement AI-driven features using Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, and orchestration frameworks for Copilot experiences. Ø Operations, Support & Performance Ø Monitor M365 service health, telemetry, and usage analytics Ø Troubleshoot platform issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures. Ø Ensure adherence to compliance, retention, and data governance policies Ø Cross-Functional Collaboration o Work with solution architects to ensure technical designs align with enterprise architecture standards. o Collaborate with information security teams to meet compliance and data protection requirements. o Participate in technical discussions and provide input on design and implementation strategies. Ø Maintain and Support Environments o Support existing Enterprise Search applications, including enhancements, bug fixes, troubleshooting, and backend upgrades. o Documentation and Training o Prepare technical documentation and assist internal teams with technical issues.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualification
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
o 6+ years of work experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 engineering. o Deep expertise in SharePoint Online architecture, site provisioning, permissions & governance o Hands-on experience with Azure AD / Entra ID administration, Azure resources management Technical Skills
o Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell, PnP PowerShell o Content types, site templates, hub sites, metadata and taxonomy o Azure AD / Entra ID administration o Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Graph API. o Azure Fonctions, Logic Apps, DevOps CI/CD pipelines o Modern authentication methods including OAuth 2.0 and app registrations o Understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, and governance models.
Soft Skills
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. o Good communication and collaboration abilities. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement. o Preferred Qualifications
