This individual will be required to develop, design, build and test robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Create an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications. Manager Specific requirements: Programs and troubleshoots PLCs and associated control systems. Reads and understands equipment schematics. Designs simple electronic control systems, specifies control equipment, builds and installs control systems.\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes</li>\n <li>Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise</li>\n <li>Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods</li>\n <li>Works with a moderate degree of supervision</li>\n <li>Performs manual tasks according to established procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components. </li>\n <li>Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components. </li>\n <li>Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings. </li>\n <li>Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance. </li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Associate's Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Technical Training Preferred</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Detail oriented. Problem-solving skills. Mathematic skills. Computer skills. Technical skills.
